Shot entirely on 35mm Kodak Gold film using my trusty Vivitar 3800N, this session was all about capturing authentic connection, tenderness, and a little bit of everyday magic.

A Day in Their Home


Sophia and Josh wanted their session to feel personal and real, so we decided to shoot in the comfort of their own home. Their space was filled with warmth—soft, neutral tones, cozy blankets, and just the right amount of clutter that makes a house a home. The cloudy skies outside worked in our favor, creating dreamy, even light that complemented the intimate, relaxed vibe we were going for.

The Session


From the moment we started, it was clear these two were deeply in sync. Their love for each other radiated in the smallest gestures—an unspoken glance, a laugh, and the way they naturally leaned into one another. Their dog, of course, didn’t want to miss out on the fun. Hearing there were snuggles and kisses on the table, their pup happily joined in, adding an extra layer of joy to the shoot.


With Kodak Gold’s warm tones and rich colors, every frame felt timeless and full of life. The grain of the film and double exposure added a nostalgic touch, perfectly suited to the cozy, lived-in aesthetic of the session.
